Went to another beer store while out cruising some back roads. They had this, so I bought it.
The guy at the store said it’s the first time it’s been released in 3 years and it has 18-20% alcohol. I’ve had two of Dogfish Head’s super-high ABV beers before, so I know what I’m in for, but I am interested to see how flavorful it is compared to the others.

A local liquor store had a whole bunch of this stuff right around my birthday (August) in 2014, so I did what any law abiding American boy would do and bought a bottle. Properly expensive stuff, but whatever.
I’ve never had any of Dogfish’s other high abv beers, but I found World Wide Stout a solid representation of what an Imperial Stout should be. Nothing stood out as extraordinary - besides the extremely high alcohol content, of course. But there was literally nothing wrong with it. Darn good beer that hit all the right notes, though I wouldn’t say it blew me away.
Plus, one 12 ounce bottle got me trashed, so there’s that.

I’ll have to keep my eyes out for that one.
I’ve had 120 minute IPA a couple of times, and at 18% ABV it is a serious brew. I also split that 12 oz bottle with a friend. It’s a beer for sipping on for sure.
